In the statement made by the Ministry of Science of South Korea, it was stated that strong winds were rough on the rocket, which is planned to be launched from the Naro Space Center in Goheung-gun city tomorrow.

It was noted that the rocket named “Nuri”, which means “Earth” and whose first test was made 8 months ago, could not be placed at the launch point due to the air bases.

It was reported that the rocket is planned to be launched on Thursday, June 16.

Nuri was launched for the first time on October 21, 2021, from the space center in the Goheung district, about 500 kilometers south of the capital city of Seoul.

South Korean President Moon Jae-in announced that the rocket was traveling fast, but the 1.5 tons of artificial satellites on the rocket could not be put into orbit.

Korea Space Research Institute (KARI) announced that the Nuri rocket will be launched into space four more times by 2027.

It is estimated that the cost of the rocket to South Korea is 1.6 billion dollars. The rocket, with a payload of 200 tons and a length of 47.2 meters, has 6 engines.
