US Leader Joe Biden signed the gun control law that the Democratic Party and Republican Party agreed on and passed by the US House of Representatives.
The law, which restricts the purchase of weapons against gun violence in the USA and allows the inspection of illegal weapons, came into force after it was submitted to Biden’s approval.
Biden, who signed the article submitted for approval at the White House, said that “lives will be saved” with the adoption of the gun control law.
The gun regulation law, which was agreed on by the Republicans and Democrats in the Senate and approved at the Senate General Assembly yesterday, was accepted in the House of Representatives with 234 “yes” votes to 193 “no” votes.
With this article, the US Congress has made a regulation on gun control for the first time in the last 30 years.
Gun control regulation has come to the fore again after the racist attack in Buffalo last month and the protests across the country, with gun raids on a school in Texas.
