Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Ünal Üstel, who visited the GÜNSEL production facilities in the Near East University campus, accompanied by the ministers, took a test drive and received information about the mass production activities, stated that GÜNSEL is a very valuable project that shows where we have come from what we went through before 1974. “We’re going to bring a work we can be proud of to the world markets,” said Üstel, adding, “What a painful day we had before 1974. Today, we are crowning our freedom, which we gained with the support of our homeland Turkey, with a project like GÜNSEL. That’s why today is our day of pride.”
