ANKARA (IGFA) – In the statement made by the TMO General Directorate, it was noted that the corn harvest in Turkey started locally in the first week of August, while it was estimated that the corn production would be at the level of 7 million tons with an increase of 3.7 percent compared to the previous year.
In the statement underlining that the producers will continue to receive the diesel, fertilizer and difference payment bases given by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the policies to be followed in corn purchases by TMO were determined as follows.
“The entire production measure in the documents will be purchased from the producers registered in the Farmer Registration System. Payments for the work fee will be transferred to the bank accounts of the producers within 30 days from the date the work is delivered to TMO. Appointments can be made over the internet at www.tmo.gov.tr or Perakende.tmo.gov. tr, as well as by applying in person from TMO Workplaces.
In the meantime, in the statement stating that purchases will be made at the workplaces of the Turkish Grain Board, 6 days a week, excluding Sundays, the producers who will deliver corn should update their ÇKS information, make their appointments strictly, bring their works on the appointment day, and ensure that the products to be purchased from the agreed banks are to be avoided. card or bank account numbers, producers who will deliver works to licensed warehouses open an investment account that allows the ELUS process order from the bank, and by applying to the nearest Turkish Artifact Exchange (TÜRİB) agencies (with their identity document, investment account and residence address information) It was noted that they should be a member of TÜRİB.
