Stella Kyriakides, member of the EU Council responsible for health, made a statement while entering the meeting of EU health ministers in Luxembourg.

Kyriakides noted that at the moment, around 900 cases of monkeypox have been detected in EU countries, while the number of cases worldwide is approximately 1400.
