Bursa Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry carried out plant health studies in fig trees and production areas, while continuing their project named ‘Fig, tree by loop, tree by thread’ for quality in Bursa black fig.
BURSA (IGFA) – Experts of the fruit growing unit affiliated to the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, who stated that the geographically indicated Bursa black fig is in the middle of the city’s valuable works, carried out part isolation studies in the fig orchards in the district of Mudanya together with the Aydın Fig Research Institute.
Technical employees of the Mudanya District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry also participated in the work carried out at the beginning of the term in the black fig production areas, which is a valuable export product of Bursa.
Eşref Tutmuş, a Senior Agricultural Engineer with a mission in the Aydın Fig Research Institute Directorate, carried out plant health studies on fig trees and production areas.
With the arm isolation studies carried out in the orchards, it was aimed to analyze the sweat problem in the fig fields of Bursa locally.
