President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan welcomed the President of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, who is on an official visit to Turkey, with an official ceremony at the Presidential Complex.

The cavalrymen, who welcomed the official vehicle of Mahmud Abbas on the street in front of the Presidential Complex, accompanied by the vehicle to the protocol gate.
In the news reported by the Directorate of Communications, after President Erdoğan and Mahmud Abbas took their places in the ceremony area, the national anthems of the two countries were played, accompanied by 21 guns. Palestinian State Leader Mahmud Abbas welcomed the Guard Regiment Ceremonial Continent in Turkish by saying “Hello, soldier”.
Flags representing the 16 Turkish states established in history and soldiers also took part in the ceremony.
After the presentation of the delegations of the two countries, President Erdogan and Abbas posed for the journalists in front of the Turkish and Palestinian flags on the stairs.
President Erdogan and Abbas, who went to a tete-a-tete meeting, will then hold a joint press conference.
President Erdoğan will hold an official dinner in honor of Palestinian State Leader Abbas.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Presidential Connection Leader Fahrettin Altun, Presidential Administrative Affairs Leader Metin Kıratlı, Presidency Spokesperson İbrahim Kalın and Ankara Governor Vasip Şahin were also present at the ceremony.
