Opportunity to find ‘qualified employees’ for companies in Ankara

The application process of companies has started for the My Profession, My Life, Work and Internship Program, which was initiated by the Ministry of National Education and TOBB to provide qualified human resources to large-scale enterprises and SMEs. Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer and TOBB Leader Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu invited companies to accept interns and graduates from vocational high schools and vocational training centers that made a name for themselves with their success stories.

Within the scope of My Profession, My Life, Work and Internship Program Cooperation Protocol signed by National Education Minister Mahmut Özer and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Leader M.Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, the application process for companies’ intern and employment requests has begun. With the protocol, it is aimed to provide qualified human resources to large-scale enterprises and SMEs, especially international and national companies.

Minister Ozer; Stating that with the paradigm change, vocational education has turned into a type of education that sheds light on the future of the country and gives hope to people and the society, he said in his statement, “We are always working to train the wanted personnel of the department in our vocational high schools and vocational training centers. Vocational education today is a patent, a useful model, a brand. A type of education that can offer a high added value to the country’s economy by signing innovative studies with registration and design registrations.I believe that our students and graduates who receive education in these schools and institutions will also add value to the companies they work for. That’s why our companies within TOBB, which have made a name for themselves with their success stories, are vocational high schools and vocational high schools. I invite intern students and graduates from training centers to accept them,” he said.

Stating that they have always strengthened vocational education in order for the welfare of the country, its development, to reduce the youth unemployment rate and to look to the future with hope in a prosperous way, Özer said, “I fully believe that the special department will strengthen the vocational education, and the vocational education will strengthen our special department.”

Minister Mahmut Özer stated that, together with the protocol, those who work in the companies that are members of the program and who could not complete their education for any reason or who want to get mastery certificate in a different field can also get specialization certificates by being included in the vocational training process.

TOBB Leader M.Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that with the My Profession, My Life, Work and Internship Program Protocol, they opened another productive area of ​​work with the Ministry of National Education on vocational education, “With the protocol, by creating awareness about education in large-scale enterprises and SMEs operating in the national and international arena.With the protocol, services will be provided to determine the human resource needs of the member enterprises of the program and to meet these needs through vocational training, students and graduates will be provided with internships in these enterprises and they will be employed. twinning programs will be carried out,” he said.

Emphasizing that vocational education has two valuable pillars: students, graduates and teachers, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Our private department in Turkey is very strong and has an excellent knowledge and experience. We need to transfer this knowledge and experience to the vocational education system, and ensure that our students graduate equipped with this information. “We will match schools with individuals who are experts in their fields and have educational qualifications within the companies that are members of the program. After the pairing, these individuals will be able to take charge with the field teachers in the trainings organized at the schools and transfer their knowledge and experience to the students. This part of the protocol will be carried out entirely within the framework of volunteerism,” he said.

In this context, Hisarcıklıoğlu called on all businesses that are members of the Chamber-Exchange to be included in the program.

How will companies apply to the program?

. Companies must fill in the application form at https://anket.tobb.org.tr/#/anket/meslegim-hayatim in order to request interns from vocational training.
. Then, students will be matched with the requesting companies.

-What are the bases given?

. Regardless of the number of employees in the enterprise, students who go to internship will be paid 1,276 TL per month, and students attending the 12th grade of the Vocational Education Center will be paid 2,126 TL per month.
