In the written statement made by the bank, it was stated that the new financing is a module of the support package, which exceeds 4 billion dollars in total, mobilized by the World Bank.
It was stated in the statement that approximately $2 billion of the said fund was spent, and that the World Bank Executive Board approved an additional $1.49 billion in financing for Ukraine in order to base the public expenditures in the country.

It has been learned that the new financing will be used to pay the prices of government and social service officials.
In the statement, it was stated that financing guarantees from England, Netherlands, Lithuania and Latvia were used for the new resource, and it was stated that the resource was also supported by parallel financing from Italy and contributions to the Multi-Donor Faith Fund.

World Bank Leader David Malpass, whose views were included in the statement, stated that the World Bank Cluster has always provided support for Ukraine and its people in the face of the ongoing war.
“We are working with donor countries to take advantage of the flexibility of our various financing instruments to mobilize financial support and help Ukrainians access healthcare, education and social containment,” Malpass said.
