The Ministry of Family and Social Services announced that 3 billion 125 million TL of payments within the scope of social aid programs were deposited into accounts on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
ANKARA (IGFA) – Minister of Family and Social Services Derya Yanık stated that due to the Eid al-Adha, certain social aid programs payments for July were brought forward.
“We deposit the old-age pension, disability pensions, residential care assistance and social economic support (SED) payments to the accounts before the holiday. In this direction, we will share a total of 3 billion 125 million TL to the beneficiaries,” he said.
Minister Yanık made statements regarding the July elderly pension, disability pensions, residential care assistance and SED, which will be paid before the Eid al-Adha.
Noting that they will make elderly pension payments of approximately 835 million TL in July, Minister Yanık stated that they will deposit approximately 658 million TL of disability pensions into the accounts of the beneficiaries.
Reminding that citizens with severely disabled relatives who need care and who cannot work because they take care of them, are supported with home care assistance, Minister Yanık said, “With the aim of providing economic support to severely disabled citizens and their families in need of care, this month, a total of 1 billion 296 million TL of residential care assistance was provided before the Eid al-Adha. “This month, 550 thousand of our citizens will benefit from housing care assistance,” he said.
Noting that they provide social and economic support (SED) services to families in need so that children do not break away from their families for economic reasons, in addition to the payments made for the elderly and disabled, Minister Yanık said that a total of 336 million TL will be deposited in the accounts of the families for approximately 147 thousand children who benefit from social and economic support before the holiday. told.
Minister Yanık said, “In this direction, due to the Eid al-Adha, we are depositing the old-age pension, disability pensions, Home Care Assistance and Social Economic Basis (SED) payments within the scope of social aid programs into the accounts today. We will share a total of 3 billion 125 million TL to the beneficiaries.” he said he.
Minister Yanık stated that social aid and social services are carried out within the framework of human-oriented and rights-based policies.
