Izmit Book Days, which was opened as part of the activities of the Izmit Municipality of Kocaeli, on the 101st anniversary of the liberation of Izmit from the enemy occupation, left behind a day full of interviews and music concerts.
KOCAELİ (IGFA) – Kocaeli’s Izmit Municipality opened the Izmit Book Days as part of the activities of the 101st anniversary of the liberation of Izmit. While the first day of Izmit Book Days, which was organized with the motto of 41 Brands and 41 Authors within the scope of the Directorate of Culture and Social Affairs, with the contributions of local poets, authors and publishing houses from Izmit, was full, the citizens came to the fore in the conversations of local writers and poets.
WAITING FOR ITS VISITORS
Within the scope of the events, a conversation between Izmit City Council Leader Hüseyin Erol and Yüksel Akçayır from the Independent Journalists and Poets Association took place. The guests had a pleasant time throughout the day with poetry and music performances. Izmit Book Days, which attracted great interest from citizens of all ages, will continue to host its visitors until 22:00 on Sunday, June 26.
