Liaison Leader Altun appreciated NATO summit

Communications Leader Fahrettin Altun shared on his social media account, “At the summit of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan with Finnish President Sauli Niinistö, Swedish Prime Minister Magdelena Andersson and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, we achieved concrete, specific and valuable results regarding our concerns about terrorism.” he used the terms.

ANKARA (IGFA) – Noting that cooperation against the terrorist organization PKK and its affiliates was accepted at the summit of NATO, Liaison Leader Altun said, “President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a meeting between President Erdoğan and Finnish President Sauli Niinistö, Swedish Prime Minister Magdelena Andersson and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. All parties have accepted full cooperation against the terrorist organization PKK and its affiliates.” he shared.

Stating that Sweden and Finland have committed to stand by Turkey against all forms of terrorism and have promised not to support the PYD/YPG and FETO, Link Leader Altun said that Sweden and Finland agreed to ban the financing and recruitment activities of the PKK and its affiliates and front organizations. he said he did.

“They also agreed to prevent terrorist propaganda against Turkey,” said Altun, adding, “We agreed to support Finland and Sweden’s participation in the EU Structured Permanent Cooperation Agreement (PESCO) to the fullest extent. “We will establish a Permanent Joint System that will deal with and verify.”

Noting that Turkey has achieved significant gains in dealing with terrorist organizations thanks to President Erdogan’s determined stance, Link Leader Altun stated that inclusion of FETO in the terrorist organizations, as well as the PKK/PYD/YPG, is a clear victory in dealing with international terrorism.

Stating that they will work closely with Finnish and Swedish authorities for the implementation of the said agreement, Link Leader Altun said in his posts, “We are happy with their approach to addressing our concerns. We will work to ensure that NATO is more together on terrorism. Turkey is committed to joint security, including terrorism. “We will not cause cracks in this Alliance, nor will we compromise our national security. We have always defended and will continue to defend a stronger NATO.”
