Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that the United States took decisions in place of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Lavrov answered the questions of journalists during his visit to the capital of Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, for the meeting of foreign ministers of the Caspian Sea countries.
Noting that Western presidents made statements in the direction that “Peace should not be established in Ukraine under Russia’s conditions,” Lavrov stated that Western countries continue to send weapons to Ukraine.
Emphasizing that the West’s line in this direction is “inefficient” and “harmful”, Lavrov said, “The more weapons Western countries send to Ukraine, the longer this conflict and the efforts of the supported Nazi regime will last.” he said he.
Lavrov, “Does Zelensky hope for NATO reinforcements?” “What Zelenski thinks and hopes for is not necessarily valuable. He is not the one making the decisions. Decisions are taken in Washington. These decisions are not even taken at the presidential level. Officers in the State Department make these decisions.” made its assessment.
Evaluating the possibility of Zelenski’s participation in the G20 Hill, which will be hosted by Indonesia, Lavrov said, “No meeting is held without Zelenski anymore. The Ukrainian administration is persistent and dignified on these issues. It is not our concern whether Zelenski will wander around the summit in Bali.” he used his word.
