Last minute… Election 2023: Here are the rates in the earthquake zone…
60 million voters in Turkey went to the polls for the 28th Term Parliamentary Elections and Presidential Elections. For the elections, more than 191 thousand ballot boxes were set up in 973 districts and 1094 district election boards across Turkey.
Voting started at 08:00. 60 million 697 thousand 843 voters in the country were able to vote until 17.00 today.
YSK Chairman Ahmet Yener announced that the election bans were lifted as of 18:30. Thereupon, ANKA and AA results began to be shared.
ELECTION RESULTS IN THE EARTHQUAKE REGION
Turkey was shaken by devastating earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş in February. More than 50 thousand citizens lost their lives in the earthquakes that caused destruction in 11 provinces.
After the election bans were lifted, the vote rates in the earthquake area began to be wondered.
