Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Leader Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç met with the headman of the Melikgazi district and their families in the Koramaz Valley, which has been home to different civilizations.
Mayor Büyükkılıç, firstly, took a walk with the headmen in Koramaz Valley, which is one of the unique values of Kayseri with its natural beauty and diversity of vegetation.
Walking in Kayserispor jersey, Büyükkılıç both walked on a 4-kilometer track in Koramaz Valley, which is the center of attention for nature lovers with its natural beauty, and chatted with the headmen and their families.
During the march, Battalgazi Neighborhood Headman Elif Yılmaz added a color to the march by singing a folk song. Other muhtars accompanied the folk songs sung by Muhtar Yılmaz with applause.
Leader Büyükkılıç, who made statements during his meeting with the headmen, said, “We are in Koramaz Valley, we are in the region of Mimar Sinan. First of all, this is an extraordinary natural environment that our Mevla has bestowed upon people. Of course, with the richness of hosting different civilizations, we took a walk in this pleasant region with the different religious structures, examples of civil architecture, underground cities and museums, the residence of our Mimar Sinan, together with the well-paid headmen of our Melikgazi, and then we had a modest breakfast.” he said he.

Mentioning that they came to a meeting with the muhtars in an atmosphere of conversation, Büyükkılıç gave a message of unity and solidarity and said, “Thankfully, our headmen did not leave us alone, we were here together in an atmosphere of conversation. May Allah not disturb our unity, solidarity and peace. Yesterday was August 30 Victory Day. Congratulations again on our holiday. I also mention how many hundreds of years. Our Kayseri has always acted in an understanding that depends on its costs in the national effort. Even going further, all of our senior high school students became martyrs and could not graduate. We are speaking from such a city”.
Mayor Büyükkılıç emphasized that Kayseri is a city that bears a burden, not a burden, and said, “It is also an honor for us to be the servant of such a city and to be the Leader of the Metropolitan Municipality. After the walk, Büyükkılıç and the village headmen and their families had breakfast at Koramaz Cafe, which reflects Kayseri’s strong gastronomic culture to the guests.
President Büyükkılıç then took a souvenir photo with the headmen and their families to commemorate the day.
