KAYMEK Huzur Çınari Family Counseling and Guidance Center, which aims to find solutions to all kinds of psychological problems hand in hand with young people, by providing free psycho-social reinforcement with the limit of free psycho-social reinforcement offered via whatsapp, is the promotion and support activities of the project named ‘My Confidence’. In the event, awareness was raised to citizens, mostly young people and children, on the ‘Empathy Track’ created by the Besime Özderici Special Education and Rehabilitation Center to understand the visually, hearing and physically disabled people. Citizens who were blindfolded, ears covered and seated in wheelchairs on the empathy track tried to understand and empathize with the experiences of disabled citizens. The common impressions of the citizens who have experienced the parkour, “Very difficult. I will help them. They live every day”.

Erciyes University Faculty of Architecture students, who willingly took a mission in the event, said that understanding the daily life of a disabled person, being with them and helping them while they feel it makes them very enjoyable and creates an awareness, and said that citizens also show interest in the activity. Expressing that 8 out of 10 individuals are sensitive to activity, the eager students said, “We came to help on the empathy track to raise awareness for the disabled. Stating that mostly young people and children showed interest in the event, the students stated that citizens are now more sensitive to the disabled, and that 8 out of 10 citizens showed sensitivity and participated in the activities, and they were very pleased with this.
