In the Bozkurt and İnebolu districts of Kastamonu, there were floods after the showers that showed their effect throughout the night.
ANKARA (IGFA) – Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu announced on his social media account that there is a risk of flooding for 5 cities and the entire Western Black Sea region.
Minister Soylu also announced that AFAD and governorships are in a state of alarm.
In the Bozkurt and İnebolu districts of Kastamonu, there were floods after the showers that showed their effect throughout the night. In İnebolu, where the İnebolu Stream overflows, the lower floors, the houses, the arbours, the resting areas and the Farmer’s Market from the Farmer to the Consumer were damaged.
The Kastamonu-Inebolu highway was also closed to traffic. Transportation to the district is provided via Abana.
Noting that the vigilance continued throughout the night and today, Minister Soylu said, “Measures were taken with construction equipment and warnings at many points. But the creek has risen too high in İnebolu. Shops will not open along the length of the stream. Our Governor and all units are working. Our AFAD Leader Yunus Sezer is going to İnebolu. Allah protect it,” he shared.
Gece boyunca ve bugün teyakkuz devam ediyor
Birçok noktada iş makinaları ve uyarılarla tedbir alındı.
Ancak İnebolu’da dere çok yükseldi.
Dere boyu dükkanlar açılmayacak.
Valimiz ve tüm birimler çalışıyor.

Flood events occur in Zonguldak and Karabuk due to precipitation.
In the middle, the Istanbul Governor’s Office issued a heavy rain warning for the city since noon.
As it will be remembered, there was a flood disaster in Kastamonu Bozkurt on August 11 last year.
