Flooded minibus rolled into the creek: 6 workers swam ashore
In the accident that took place in Kılıçlar village of Kırıkkale’s Yahşihan district, the minibus with the workers returning from the night shift was caught in the rain water descending from the mountain due to heavy rain and rolled into the creek.
The minibus, which was drifting about 1 kilometer in the stream, stopped by hitting the iron bridge. 6 workers caught in the water came ashore with their own efforts.
Health and fire crews were dispatched to the scene upon the notice made to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
It was learned that the health status of 6 workers who were treated in Yüksek İhtisas Hospital and Medical Faculty Hospital was good. Yahşihan Municipality Fire Department teams came to the scene and checked the minibus in the stream.
Kerem Demir, one of the construction site workers who came to the scene, said, “The workers are the night crew. While returning to the bazaar after work, the flood hits the river on the way. there is,” he said.
