Metropolitan Municipality Leader Alinur Aktaş, who visited DOSABSİAD Leader Nilüfer Çevikel in Bursa, said that by intensifying the cooperation, the contributions to the city and country economy will be increased.
BURSA (IGFA) – Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Leader Alinur Aktaş paid a courtesy visit to Demirtaş Organized Industrial Zone Industrialists’ and Business People’s Association (DOSABSİAD) Executive Committee Leader Nilüfer Çevikel and the members of the Board of Directors. During the visit, it was emphasized that DOSABSİAD is in a strategic position in terms of the economy of the city and the country.
Noting that DOSABSİAD has made great contributions to the economy, Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Leader Alinur Aktaş stated that DOSABSİAD, a business world organization, has provided very valuable gains to the city and country’s economy for 35 years, and Nilüfer, who has realized successful works in TÜGİAD and DOSABSİAD, where she made history as the first lady leader. He congratulated the Administration headed by Cevikel.
Leader Aktaş, who said, “As the Metropolitan Municipality, we stand by our industrialists and business people who take the responsibility for our city and our country,” Leader Aktaş said that he also thinks that vocational high schools should be preferred more and the need for personnel needed by the industrialists should be met through this channel.
Nilüfer Çevikel, the Leader of the DOSABSİAD Board of Directors, underlined that they are in a pioneering position not only in terms of production and employment, but also in digital and green transformation.
Mentioning that the Digital Transformation School is one of the valuable breakthroughs in this field, Çevikel said, “We demand that legal regulations not be implemented without consulting the business world in this process. The significant losses experienced by our exporters, who buy raw materials in foreign currency and sell in foreign currency, need to be compensated. Likewise, in terms of access to finance. We continue to increase our contribution to the economy despite the country’s conditions and the persecutions in the global market, especially what has happened.”
At the end of the visit, Aktaş presented a historical painting to Çevikel on the occasion of Bursa being the 2022 Turkish World Culture Capital.
