Delegation of the International Atomic Power Agency to Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant on the real road
EEA Leader Grossi made a statement to journalists in the capital city of Kyiv before departmenting for the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant.
Stating that they hope to establish a permanent mission in Ukraine as an agency to monitor the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, Grossi said, “These operations are very complex operations. We are going to a war zone. We are going to occupied lands and this is “We have succeeded in providing this and now we are moving (to the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant) without mistakes,” he said.
The IAEA delegation led by Grossi had come to Ukraine to conduct investigations at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant.
EUROPE’S LARGEST NUCLEAR POWER PLANT
The Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant in the southeast of Ukraine is the largest nuclear power plant in Europe.
The power plant, which has six nuclear reactors and has an electricity generation capacity of 5,700 megawatts, provides 20 percent of the total electricity in Ukraine.
The power plant was captured by the Russians on March 4.
