British Prime Minister Boris Johnson made statements regarding the report at the weekly Questions to the Prime Minister Session held in the House of Commons, following the publication of the senior undersecretary Sue Gray’s detailed report on the parties held in the Prime Ministry during the quarantine announced due to Covid-19.

Saying that Sue Gray was “appalled” by some of the findings in the report, which revealed that many of the parties in the Prime Ministry violated the Covid-19 rules, Johnson said that he took full responsibility and said, “I learned my lesson “

In his statement, Johnson stated that he participated in some events held at the Prime Ministry to thank the employees for their efforts during the Covid-19 outbreak period.

Johnson argued that after he left, the Covid-19 restrictions were violated at the parties that lasted for a long time, but he was not aware of them because he was not at the parties.

RESPONSE FROM THE OPINION TO PRIME MINISTER JOHNSON

Keir Starmer, the leader of the main opposition Staff Party, who spoke after Johnson’s statements, described the findings of the Sue Gray report as “the arrogance of the government that believes there is one rule for themselves, another rule for everyone.”

“This Prime Minister is leading the country in the wrong direction,” said Starmer, adding that Conservative Party lawmakers led by Johnson “must prevent the Prime Minister from dragging the country into disaster.”

Ian Blackford, head of the House Cluster of the Scottish National Party, also reiterated the invitations to Johnson to resign, emphasizing the importance of credibility and morality, assessing that Johnson is “lacking” of these.

IN THE REPORT, IT IS NOT RESPECTED FOR THE WORKER WHO BRINGS THEIR CONCERNS TO LANGUAGE

In the detailed report released by Sue Gray today, it was stated that during the period of Covid-19 restrictions, many of the parties held in the Prime Ministry were violated, pointing out that the rules were violated, and that the obliging and security staff also faced “unacceptable” treatment.

In the report, it was pointed out that many activities in the Prime Ministry should not be allowed to be organized in that period, and it was noted that the employee who brought his concerns to the language was not respected.

JOHNSON WAS FINED FOR VIOLATION OF COVID-19 RULES

A new photo emerged on May 23, showing that Prime Minister Boris Johnson attended a party held in the Prime Minister’s Office despite the Covid-19 restrictions in the UK.

At the time the photograph was taken of Johnson giving a speech with a drink in his hand, the public was not allowed to come to a public appearance with anyone other than members of the household at large events.

In the UK, police launched an investigation at the beginning of the year, following news of 12 incidents allegedly violating Covid-19 restrictions in 2020 and 2021.

As part of the investigation, Prime Minister Johnson was found for attending his own birthday party.

After being fined for violating the Covid-19 rules, Johnson apologized on May 12, but announced that he would not resign.
