According to the statement made by the Presidency of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev called President Erdogan and gave information about the meeting he had with Charles Michel, the Leader of the European Union (EU) Council, and Nikol Pashinyan, the Prime Minister of Armenia, in Brussels on Sunday.
Ilham Aliyev stated that during his meeting with Charles Michel and Nikol Pashinyan, they discussed the preparation of a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the normalization of interests between the two countries, the opening of transportation corridors and the determination of the end, and said that he evaluated the meeting positively.
Aliyev pointed out that today he signed a decision on the establishment of the state board for the determination of borders in the middle of Azerbaijan and Armenia, and the Zangezur Corridor, including the construction of both railways and highways, of the parties.
Erdoğan also thanked Aliyev for informing him and expressed his satisfaction with the positive results achieved at the meeting. Erdogan and Aliyev also discussed the bets on Turkey and Azerbaijan relations.
