Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Leader Dr. Young KAYMEK, the youth project of KAYMEK, which touches thousands of people by organizing vocational training and courses based on education and lifelong learning, under the instructions of Memduh Büyükkılıç, draws attention with the activities it organizes on special days.
Young KAYMEK students, who portrayed the soldiers of the War of Independence in the tram vehicle on the way, as part of the 100th Anniversary activities of the August 30 Victory Day, said, “This homeland belongs to those who stand like mountain ranges in the heart of the land. It belongs to those who have given themselves to history for its sake throughout a history.”
A student who said that from Manzikert to Çanakkale, our ancestors left this cherished homeland to the youth, said:
“Alparslan opened Anatolia in Manzikert, and II. Kılıçaslan made Anatolia his homeland, and in Constantinople, which was honored with Islam and became his Istanbul, Fatih opened and closed the age. In Çaldıran, Yavuz overthrew the king and swept through Legal Europe. Our ancestors, who heroically defended our beloved homeland from Çanakkale to Dumlupınar, where we wrote an epic, handed over the banner of victory to us on 30 August. As the students of KAYMEK Youth Centers, we commemorate all of our brothers in arms, especially Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, our martyrs and veterans with respect, mercy and gratitude.”
While the young people were keeping watch in the tram for a while, the traveling citizens supported the young people with applause.
